Petal Pit Stop

Privacy policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

Petal Pit Stop is a local flower shop in Papillion & La Vista, Nebraska. This page explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

The site is in an early preview. Payments are in test mode, so no card is charged and no payment details are collected.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name and email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, they share your name and email with us (Apple may give us a private relay address instead). We never see your Apple or Google password.
  • Orders: your name, email and phone number, plus, for deliveries, the recipient's name, the delivery address and any delivery notes. We also keep the greeting card message you write and who it's from.
  • Subscriptions and saved dates: the delivery schedule you choose, and for the Never-Forget plan, the people, dates and addresses you add.
  • Your cart: what you've added, so it's still there when you come back.

How we use it

  • To make, deliver and hand off your flowers, and to contact you about your order.
  • To run your subscription and remind you about the dates you saved.
  • To let you sign in and see your orders.

We only email you about your account and orders, such as sign-in codes and order updates.

Cookies and storage

  • session: keeps you signed in (up to 30 days).
  • cart_id: remembers your cart.
  • attribution: only set when you arrive from an ad or a tagged link. It remembers which ad or link brought you (for up to 90 days), so we can tell which ones lead to orders.
  • Your browser also stores your sign-in tokens and small preferences, like the greeting card you picked. They stay on your device.

These are first-party cookies, set by this site only. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies or pixels.

Visit counts

To learn which pages and bouquets people like, we count visits ourselves. No outside analytics service and no cookies are involved. For each visit we record the page, the site you came from, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), your country, and steps like adding to cart or placing an order.

To count repeat visits within a day without identifying you, we combine your IP address and browser into a scrambled code using a random key that changes every day and is then deleted. We don't store your IP address, and the codes can't be linked across days or back to you.

If you place an order after clicking one of our ads, the order keeps a note of that ad click. If we start reporting ad results to an ad platform (like Google or Meta), we'll update this page first to say what we share.

Who else handles your information

  • Amazon Web Services (Cognito) stores your sign-in details and sends sign-in and password reset codes.
  • Apple or Google, if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Cloudflare carries traffic to the site and protects it from abuse.

Your orders and account details are stored on our own server. When real payments start, a payment processor will handle your card. We'll never store your full card number, and we'll update this page before that happens.

Your choices

  • You can see your orders, subscriptions and saved dates on your account page, and change or cancel them there.
  • Email us to get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account. We keep order records only as long as we need them for the business and taxes.

Children

The site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be shown on the site.
